Well I just ordered 3 tons of Natures Heat. She's going to call me back to verify they have 3 tons of that, otherwise I'll take whatever they've got. $600 shipped. Beats the $900 I spent on 3 tons last year!

The Home Depot in Poughkeepsie has both Pres to Logs and Boyou( from Louisiana). Anyone ever heard of them and are they any good? Same $179 price..

They are "Bayou" pellets, and they are supposedly a very low quality pellet. I would definately choose the Pres-to-logs over them any day (based on what I've heard here on the forum).

Rochester, NH still has Stove Chow at 249. Signs shows a price drop from the orig 299. No, thank you

went to my area home depot and asked about 179 a ton, they looked at me like i had two heads. then informed me they were out stock on any pellets.

Yup. Stopped tonight. They also have freedom fuel. And $3.58 a bag. I think I will get a few bags of prestos. I have burned a few bags of them and they were OK as I remember. I really need to write this stuff down. Freedoms and Bayous don't do much for me.
Not much heat.

Here in Carlisle, PA the HD is still $249/ton. The local Tractor supply is $250.

Yeah, that sucks. I called around, and even down in Hanover they're still $249.

TSC in Lancaster on memorial drive, north side of town
740 654-1496 for the somersets

henrys feed mill on st rt 188
for the awf

The homey d around here must have their head up their @ss, they're still @ $229.
I can get a better quality pellet @ the dealer for $30-50 less.

No pane, if you found a better deal in your area, please tell the forum members which dealer it is that you're getting better pellets at $179-$199/ton.

I'm sure they would appreciate the info.

Home Depot just called to confirm that I'm getting 3 tons of presto log pellets. Hope they're good, but for the price, don't think I can go wrong.

Wow - The HD by my house on LI NY is still asking $300 ton.

I was in the Kingston NY Home Depot tonight and they just dropped their left over pellets for $179/ton. I'm seriously considering buying a ton or 2 to save for next year. Thoughts? I've got an attached garage where I can keep them. Do you think they'd be OK over the summer?

Got curious and called the Bangor Home Depot today, $269/ton for Natures Heat. Haul 'em yourself.

Spen 1.5 hours in my freezing garage clearing it out in preperation for the delivery tomorrow. Hope they can push them in with the forklift!

Someday, when you're burning those pellets you bought so cheap in a nice warm home, that couple of hours in the cold won't seemed to have been all that bad, and you'll have fond memories of the $$ that stayed in your pocket. ;-)

Thanks Ylomnstr
Got my Presto's two tons yesterday at the Home Depot in Pok. They had 200 tons left on Thursday and 66 tons on Friday. Prestos were pretty much gone as they had to open a couple of pallets to fill my order. They had Freedoms though. I had to make four trips as the truck wouldn't hold a full ton and I unloaded it with some assistance from my son. If u need help if they can't push it in the garage, give a shout I right in town.

I just picked up the LAST full shrink wrapped ton of Presto Logs from Home Depot in Middletown, $179.00 for the ton, I was there yesterday morning and there were a bunch of pallets in the front of the store with the sale price onthem and I said to myself I should get a ton right now, but because my truck was full of tools I had to wait. When I went there today there were none left in front of the store, but the guy at the courtesy counter checked into it and told me there was 1 ton left, WHEW!!! Now I'm waiting for my son to get home to help me unload and stack 'em, and that should do me till the end of winter :cheese:

Got my 3 tons delivered! He got them in the garage for me. I'm a happy man. I do have a question though. They came shrinkwrapped. There's definately condensation and ice inside of the shrinkwrap which is around the plastic which covers the bags. Should I take the shrinkwrap off so that when the ice melts, it doesn't just sit in there? I know there's still plastic between the shrinkwrap and bags, but I'm just concerned since they'll be sitting there till next year.

Get those puppies un shrunk wrapped and rid of the ice and crap, that way it can't cause any (more) trouble.
