Clear skies, crisp and cold. I don't think I've seen a brighter evening.

"We had a low of 0 °C, beautiful skies today, one of the brightest days of the year. Great day to bundle up and cut some trees with the new saw. Best way to stay warm. That's what I did. I could see the wood pile tonight without turning on any lights. Great stuff!!!"

Same here--No flashlight needed to grab wood tonight!

Unbelievable last night with the light reflecting off the snow. Wish it wasn't as cold (-5f) otherwise it would have been a memorable snowshoe hike with my six year old and wife. I also understand that Mars was off to the left of the moon last night.

The moon was gorgeous this morning just before it set. I was replenishing wood while the dogs took care of business and tried to take a pic with the digital cannon but that turned out to be a weapons grade FAIL!

Awesome night. Cold, clear and bright. Stepped out late to let the dog do his business and couldn't
believe how bright it was.

My good cameras batteries were dead last night but I tried to catch it with my phone. It was 6 °F last night when I went to bed with wind chills pushing all the way down to -20 °F . The second picture was taken thursday afternoon just before the cold front moved in. Last one explains itself after bringing in some wood.

Nice photos Mike. Every time the opportunity presents itself for full moon photos I either have dead batteries in the camera, or can't find the tripod.

Same here in the Lake Placid area, got down to around -10* at my house, absolute clear sky, snow on the ground made
things very bright. I kept getting out of bed and going out on the deck just to look at the moon and the shadows. Oh yeah, and throw
another log into the stove.
