We've had it installed and burning for about 3 weeks. We live in a suburb of Portland, OR, so our climate is fairly mild compared to a lot of members here, but we get tons of heat. We have a 2000 sq ft ranch and this is probably in the worst place in the house. Its in the living room which is fairly closed off and way over in the far corner to make it even worse. Our living room is in the 80's by the time we go to bed and the rest of the house is in the low 70's. Its nice to be living in shorts and t-shirts in the middle of winter and have to open the windows. Now we need to get the heat to spread through the rest of the house more evenly. Here are some pics of the install.

Whoa, big cat! I thought it was a dog at first. Looks like it's pretty happy with the new stove too.

Congrats! We love our PE insert. Looks exactly like yours. I like the all black. We have an open floorplan two story. The upstairs can get a bit cool but turning the ceiling fans on reverse makes a world of difference. If I have a good fire going the thermostat which is about 20 feet from the stove will read about 69-70 degrees on a very cold day. Ceiling fan on reverse the thermostat will read about 71-73 degrees. If you have any ceiling fans you may want to give it a try. Good luck and I hope you are as happy as we have been!

our ceilings are too low for fans. I should be getting a couple of floor fans I ordered from Amazon tomorrow. I've read a bunch of posts on this site that recommend blowing air from the colder parts of the house towards the stove along the floor. That way the warm air from the stove is forced along the ceiling to the cooler spots of the house. Hopefully it works, but even if it doesn't we can live with it. Its awesome to be so warm in January that we have to open some windows.

The one thing I love about the stove. Is how clean the glass stays. If I need to clean the glass and do not want to let the fire burn out. I open the door for about 30-45 minutes. Spray with a 50-50 mixture of water and vinegar. Spray the glass and rub it with several paper towels until the streaks are gone. Good and clean for another week. Never really gets dirty just a clear film.
This has worked great for me. Just make sure to wear your glove with the hand you will be wiping with. Still pretty hot.
