I like the darker one on the right. It all depends on the color of the grout.

Grout is going to be light buff which is like a tan.

the interior decorator side of me wants to know what color the floors, furniture and walls are.

Floor now is dark brown carpet going to get new flooring soon, big furniture is oak and mahogany, walls white not a really big room.

I like the right one better it picks up the color of the stove better.. I agree a dark grout would be best..

Mahogany has reddish tones and some oak does, too, so you could go with the one on the right. If it's golden oak, though, you're either going to be complementing the mahogany or the oak, but not both.

Another vote for the stone on the right . . . I like the darker color.

I think stone looks like, well, stone, and if you try to choose stones that are all one color, it looks un-natural. I would go with both or all four or whatever color the stones are naturally.

I will also point out my wife doesn't even let me pick out my own socks...

but if I had to choose, the darker stone on the right..

The one on the right. Likely these are manufactured and can all be the same, just like a tile job.
