Does anyone know of any places that take in #4 plastic bags. They will not take them at the local recycling station. I try use them a much as possible as trash bags and what not, but still the are piling up. Hate to throw them in the trash. Thank you.

down here we have recycle bins for pickup, they welcome the bags so thats good.

i use some of the bags to protect the floor when cleaning the stove, then recycle those.

can you call the town office to see if public works/dump recycles them ? that would be my guess.

good luck,stay warm !

DP same here Cumberland takes all plastic numbers up to 12 as recycling every week. Of course my tax bill reflects that :-/ Have you tried searching the state website? I seem to remember a list there somewheres there about who takes what for recycling...........
