Hey y'all wood friends,

The stove is real nice, and the wood burns amazingly. I'm not even cold when I go to sleep! It gets my room all the way down the hall. The secondary burn looks really cool, and I don't even remember the last time we turned on the heat upstairs. My cat is amazingly happy with my fireplace. Yay!!!!

Welcome aboard, Ava! Glad to see you and your cat are toasty warm. Hope you're doing your part to help your folks with the stove, even if it's just splitting some small kindling to get the stove started in the morning (but be very, very careful if you do). Now go watch that amazing light show. :)

Glad your stove is working well. Your Clydesdale would make my Homestead look like a pony - but they both do the job. I've been avoiding daytime fires for a few weeks as our temps get into the mid 50's. Today was 55 but I broke down and had a fire going all day. It's 77 inside and still about 45 out. Don't feel to bad though as I watch the news of weather back east.

Ava, nice to see such a young fellow burner enjoy the fire!! Our four boys love the stoves. The two older Leo and Tristan, 9 and 8, do their nighly reading by the basement stove. All the kids put their wet boots and jackets downstairs to warm up. Our third boy Max, he's 6, goes downstairs every morning and watches me re-start the fire before I drive them to school. Our three year old Johnny mostly warms his rump by the stove in the living room, but periodically sneaks down stairs to hang by that stove too!! I'm thinking of moving the older two down stairs, while we remodel their bedroom next month!! I bet they would love to sleep by the stove!!! Thank you for your post.
