anyone know what a fair price would be on a used 20 ton mtd splitter. Used very lightly and well maintained.
This thing looks and runs great. haven't see any used around here for sale..

I think somebody here just bought one for around $900.
Don't know his location though, but it wasn't Alaska.

$700 is a lot for a used machine no matter how well maintained that you could buy for under a grand if you are patient and keep an eye on the sales/coupons/no payments/no interest etc.
 
Thanks for the info. I bought the splitter to resell as I already have one. end up selling it for $400.00 and a maktia dcs520i chainsaw.
I am pretty happy with the deal..

I just paid 650.00 for the 26ton I got. It was about four years old and had only split a couple truck loads.

how do you know how much was split with it. Mine is a couple years old done around 100 cords and it still looks new?
