I am looking into getting a pair of Stihl chaps. I see you can get different levels of material 6-9 what does everyone recommend? I am also 6' 3". For you tall guys out there, do you own 36" chaps or would you go with a 40" length. The only thing is the 40" only come in level 6 material.

Thanks

Anthony

what saw you running and with what size bar max lenght?

Biggest saw is a Ms360 with a 20"

that saw will run a 25in. bar so if you think you may ever get the 25in bar for it I would go with the 40in. 6 ply
A lot of people will wear them short but thats ok with a short bar.

Thanks for all your help Jay! I am also thinking about getting the face shield with built in ear protection. I have a buddy that works for a big company that has a Stihl dealership in it. He trying to help me out a little.

Get the 40's. I am 6'1 and the 36's are just barely long enough. I almost wish I had the 40's...

I got a pair of husky full wrap new in the box off the bay cheap..

The only husky product I own but I like them...Still an't got around to testing them out tho...
