I usually am on the Pellet forum but thought I would put this out. I have several Poplars (60-80') that I want to take down. They are away from the house but near the driveway. I also have some downed hardwood available. Thought I would post here before CL.

Man,

I wish I was a little closer - I'm west of Harrisonburg, VA - and depending on where you are it could be a 3 hour drive.

I hope someone here can get this!!

Put it on craigslist -and you will get some local interest. Poplar is not the greatest, but I'd still take it as free wood. I burned some this year. It splits really easy and burns alright. Season's fairly quickly.

What about the branches , limbs, and stump. Most responders will just cut and run with the wood. Just something to consider. Those sound like big trees and should be dropped by someone with experience. I'd make sure there was nothing to damage in the drop zone (broken driveway pavement, etc)

Good luck - hope you get a taker.

Thanks for the replys, everyone. I can drop the trees, no problem there. And I am near Bel Air, for people who have asked.
The only problem right now is the SNOW!

That a nice offer. I'm in Elkton but that still to far for me.
