Big storms coming this way.. but once again for me in mass nothing but a couple of inches and a bunch of rain hope you guys in upstate NY enjoy!

I'm getting some to your West. I'll sharpen the saw and have the scrounge gear at the ready. We've got 6" or so since early morning. Wind is low so far.

I am just thankful it is just rain this time for us, wash some of this snow away so I can get back to my wood scrounging, I am behind for next year now.

+1 and the snow is looking awful dirty now.

Yep. Here in Elbonia it is just rain falling on the remaining snow blanket and mud.

Don't know what to expect in Southern NH. I have been hearing conflicting reports. Stocked up the wood closet just in case!

looks like mix bag for me here in nj 34 out right now and real bitter. with another storm on thurs, i want snow i hate the cold rain and sleet.

Some of NY, VT, and NH are supposed to get pounded I hear.

Watch us only get an inch.

cmonSTART - I'm down in Rindge - so just a little south of you - I'm hearing we are going to get hit hard, but mainly weather gossip at work, vs real info - so.......I guess we'll see! I'm hoping for very little snow - have some downed beech and maple down that street that I'm hoping to get at this weekend! Cheers!

WMUR had us right on the 12+ line last I saw. Who knows. The past couple "storms" turned out to be nothing.

Actually I wouldn't mind if we didn't get much. Motorcycle season is getting close!!!

BRING IT ON, havent barely used the sleds at all this winter. If i could get 2 or 3 weekends of riding in i would be a very happy man.

I am looking forward to summer though, the S2k is itching to come out of storage!

Lake Ontario is taking care of us now 6 inch's but they are calling for sizable snow on Friday...If you want to know the definition of Sizable Snow for our southern friend's...we will need to plow the foot or more of snow in Upstate NY and go to work. Have a great week all.

I fixed it for you :D

During the ice storm of 2008, people didnt have power for weeks and roads were closed everywhere and I was still expected to show up everyday for work :(

thanks, LOL...I feel your pain, State of emergency's and they make us come to work, I moving south...I'm sure you heard that one before.

I know that i might get hit hard by saying this but in todays weather forecasting much of the forecast done by computer models.Just use the internet to reference the computer model (AVN,ETA,NGM and others) and you too can predict the weather.Again its another case that the computer is taking over.I have been a amateur meteorologist since i was a kid and still try to predict the old fashion way!Snowfall hasn't seemed like alot here in CT this year but its running about normal for a Average year.

Here in eastern ontario we have very little on the ground, haven't had much of a winter by our standards, and are only supposed to get about 3 to 5 inches mixed with rain during the next 4 days........................! Spring can't come quick enough, especially when I go out in the garage and see my Harley sitting there.

Both NWS Burlington and Plattsburgh TV weather guy predicting snow starting today thru late Wed. night for the Adirondak and Green Mts. 6 to 12 inches total accumulation. Perphaps a few more inches from squalls and snow showers thru Friday. Hope they are right, some of the trails at Whiteface were getting a little boney yesterday, but it was a bluebird day.

Guess I better put the plow back on the ATV, took it off to winch and skid logs.
