I need a few thermostats that will sense the temperature of a cement slab. I am going to connect them to a TACO SR506 control unit. Does anyone know a brand they would recommend?

I am useing a tekmar 150 thermostat , not sure how it is all wired up tho.

all i know is the taco sr series use a 24 volt thermostat
but you may take a look at the RANCO, drill a hole in the slab and bury the sensor with caulking, so you can remove it if you want

You might consider a thermostat that watches air and slab. It's real hard to control a radiant zone with just slab sensing. Unless it is a snowmelt.

I like the tekmar 500 series. Watts Radiant and most of the other radiant companies offer dual stats. Install the sensor in a well, like a piece of 3/8" copper tube, as they do fail from time to time.
