Check out this joker....$6700.00 for a used Accentra insert, and that is the minimum bid! Looks lke he got hosed on the purchase and install. Still can't figure out why he says "it does not work for our residence" when he used it once? Why doesn't it work?

Oh yeah, there a listing for another Accentra insert for $3000.00. Hope Mr. $6700.00 is not holding his breath.

Ohhh noo, how did I miss this deal!

It was listed for $5,200 last year also. Same person. He now wants interest on his investment. I saw the listing and had to read it to see if the house also came with it. Nope.

That dude has been a smokin something.

If he thinks that thing will sell at that price he is dreaming. OMG the writeup makes it sound like either its from the Leper Colony or is posessed.

$6700 at my house will buy a whole truck full of Pellet inserts.

I have not in recent years paid more than $200 for a Pellet stove.

Butttttttt I am a scrounge and a cheap scrounge at that. ;-)

This guy is confused...

$3700 new for the stove.

Figure another $500 for the liner and cap

This guy is nuts ( I think we know why it doesn't work in his home) (Unrealistic expectations)

 Harmans are made in PA I am sure someone would call a dealer before buying to get a price on a new unit...I hope

Here's the reply I received when I asked why they were asking almost double the cost of a new stove.

In reply to your email the price that my client was almost charged was $7,000.00 which he refused to pay. This item has many parts associated with this item and if you want shipping my client will charge the Fedex Freight Rate which is high because the pieces are heavy and cannot be packed by my client they will go to a Packing Professional. My client must recover the installation and removal costs as well. The price is below the $7,000.00 cost and if you want this item you can get it from my client along with the other parts otherwise you can go to chimney store and get it from them if you think my client is charging too much.

Wow, His "client" refused to pay 7,000 for the stove Misch parts and labor and delivery to install, but he isn't against charging others for this including idems like delivery and instal which the purchaser of the used equipment will not get in the deal.

"the Client must recover the installation and removal costs" WOW that in the real world that is the clients problem.

This person is a first rate MORON...

Now I think his math must be backwards. If he cuts the price in half of a new stove he might get some nibbles, but if he doubles it me thinks he will be sitting on it a looooooong time!

Possibly some fool will come swimming along, ya never know.

Based on a response I got from this person I think they may be looking for fodder for a lawsuit...

It looks like to me this person is not concerned with anything but their little world and when the dealer didn't service them to their liking they wanted to use buyer remorse to return the unit and get a full refund. Their accountant is telling them to put the entire cost install and removal out there and try to recover it. When they do not I bet get their entire amount they will take the dealer to small claims court for the difference.

I had to contact this guy too...here is what I got

In reply to your email, my client has charged what he was charged by the dealer he bought this item from. The dealer was going to originally charge almost $7,000.00 just for one part of this unit. There other parts other than the unit that goes with this item and my client must recover the labor costs to remove this item as well as install it. If you are interested in buying this unit, my client had a chimney professional take it all apart and it has many pieces. The price is below the actual price considering it is only a few months old and he cannot use it in his home and he wants to sell it off and recover his costs like everyone else. There is no shipping on this item because it is heavy unless a buyer wants to pay the Fedex or UPS Freight Charges which are really high.

If not for the fact that the seller "domestics1230_2" has sold 1865 items on ebay already, I would surely have thought this was a scam... I'm going to assume that "domestics1230_2" is a company which sells items for people for a percentage as they keep referring to their "client".

But then I thought that if it were in fact a scam, the seller would have a price that was a bargain price. If the ad was, say, $1000 for a brand new, only used once stove, then that would raise a red flag.

I'd love to know what the 3 bids are so far on this stove. My guess is the seller is going to have to re-list this item repeatedly before realizing he'll NEVER recover all he invested.

Got to love it. I love calling people on Craigslist, telling them I so interested and then cutting my price in 1/2. I know, I'm going to hell but so what?

What I thought was particularly idiotic was:

1. The guy says he is charging PA sales tax. On private party, second hand goods?
2. He says the item is "elligible for the federal energy rebate". No, it's not. That only applies to the original purchaser.

This guy sounds like a first rate pr!ck.

1. The guy says he is charging PA sales tax. On private party, second hand goods?

is that even legal? It sounds to me the guy want to recoup the sales tax too, i.e., pocked it

he's got his own ebay legal department? I'm on the wrong business

looks like the guy re-listed the item, now only 4500!!!

The updated description really amused me, I guess they got a lot of flank

I had to respond to the ebay ad also just to tug the guys chain. I said i might be interested in the whole set up for 3500 he said 3500 for stove only.

I just read his new description. Sounds like we are ticking this guy off by responding to his auction and basically telling him he is an idiot.

$4500 and the reserve is not met! What do you guys think the reserve is? I'd guess $6700, LOL

"Furthermore, any buyer that can get this cheaper at a dealer in your area, do same and don't email me as I will report any transaction interruptions to Ebay, Buyer's ISP and Law Enforcement."

Bwahahahahaaaaaaaaaa.... Go ahead! I DARE YOU!!!
