My season of burning ended about three weeks ago, because of stove failure. The bushing on the end of the auger ceased up, and burned the motor out that turns the auger. I order the whole assembly from the manufactory, they sent me the wrong assembly, they sent a second assembly this time the correct one, but did not include the bushing which caused the whole failure. So now I am waiting to receive the bushing which should come in this Thursday. If anyone has seen the Money Pit the movie, that is this insert. Within a year of operation it has a new IC chip on the controller board, 4 igniters, two sets of fan brushes, and a new gasket for the door. The assembly is 212.00 plus 30 dollars shipping, so that could have bought quite a bit of gas, I sure am rethinking this whole pellet stove thing.

Long story short I had my propane tank filled and the weather is warming up, so I really doubt, I use the insert much the rest of this season, even when I do get the correct part for the auger.

About a month or so into Red Sox season... :)

Well, I ended up buying another ton of Green Team at Lowe's and may need more as I was down to 12 bags and I still see the temps being low around here for a while.....especially in a 2100sq ft block building and 12ft ceilings. It's also getting hard to find good hardwood pellets within a few miles of me as most of the Lowe's around me are either out and expect more by week's end, or they think they won't sell anymore and are done ordering pellets even though every delivery they get is sold within a week or less lately. They also say they don't know what brand of pellets they are getting til they arrive. :-/

The last snow storm in N.Y and PA have slowed deliveries to some Lowe's by 3-4 days they tell me.
