Contemporary certainly. Large or useful, certainly not

Like these a lot, hope you don't mind messing up paint work though. Plus my splits would sometimes be challenged to stay in there

Okay, last one. don't like it much, but it's large and modern (in a shaker type way)

Ok, really the last one - this I like, and the price is good. there was a similar one on skymall:

Wow! The wood pictured in those holders is incredibly clean! They must remove all bark & scrub it down with soapy water before taking the pictures.

You don't?

since I started pressure washing ours, I hear no more complaints about the "mess" of the wood stove...

;-)

I always wanted a nice looking one that I could put against the wall in my entranceway that had a backing so I wouldn't marr the wall and have to repaint it every 2-3 years

Well, it just turns out that I have a new business opportunity - just you and three friends need to come to my seminar...

Sorry, someone just tried to rope me into a pyramid scheme tonight. Yeah. No.

Anyhoo, if you look at the url of the pics I posted, they all should lead you to the shops. Here's the plow and hearth one:

and the skymall one, which I prefer but is twice the price:

Didn't you just buy a nice steel one? 2' wide, 18" deep, 15" high with a door on the front of it?

I tried that. Wood kept disappearing. Think it was my neighbors. I'm going to put black powder in a split before loading it tonight.

My favorite design. Not as artsy as some of the others, but it holds a lot of wood. I like a lot of wood inside. Maybe I'll weld one up from an old bed frame and some sheet metal.
