I finished that chore this morning. Now it has to be stacked but it might have to wait a bit as other things are lining up for me to do.

If someone wants to take a SWAG, go ahead and I'll post when it is stacked how much is there. btw, it is mostly ash with a few elm and soft maple mixed in for good measure. Most of the soft maple was made into kindling. The elm could have been split by hand; it was really easy splitting.

Nice work! I will throw out a # 4.75

Dennis nice work, 7 cord.

For someone who always talks about slowing down you managed to get that split pretty quick! It was only two weeks ago that you started splitting! Good job Dennis!

Hey, there wasn't that much wood there! I am slow. Thanks.

That there is a nice pile of firewood! I'm no good at guessing these things, but if I had to, I'd say 9 Jeep pickup loads.

Well, you "Got Wood" for sure.... I'll guess 3.5 cords

I was trying to come up with a way to stand the splitter up on the pile like quads does but just couldn't seem to do it and have it look right.

Ha ha! It takes a very special splitting maul to perform that task.

that's a good toss to the top of that pile! 9 cords

Congratulations Savage, I'll guess 4 full cords.

So far I'm willing to bet there are a few guesses that are pretty darned close.

Great job Dennis!!

I do not even have that much cut yet!

Billy

I remove myself from guessing since we talked about it when i was out. :)

It will still be some what of a guess? Maybe a little more insite but still a guess until its stacked.

Looks like 4-5 cords, Dennis. Nice!

Note to self: Hereafter, cut/process wood in bulk, like the pros do. :p

6.25

Nice pile. I guess 2.5 cords (320 cubic feet)

Great looking pile of wood. Gonna take awhile to stack it I bet. I'm thinkin 6 full cords with 3 little pieces left over.

Rob

Estimate about 3 full cords. We had roughly the same sized pile after splitting last weekend. I was a creaky cripple the next day. Only about 6 more cords to go <groan>.
