Otherwise, you may miss an important moment that you'll need a picture of.

The little one decided to take a nap in the shade of the boat.

Indeed breaks are important. Glad you know that or else your little one will be big before you know what happened.

My 'little' one is now 6'4" and just completed boot camp in the Air Force.

I took many breaks and I am still dumbfounded as to where the time went.

Thanks for sharing this. My two granddaughters and their mom and dad are here for Easter. This evening the four year old was walking in the woods with me. She asked to see my firewood. So we walked around to my processing area. "Wow, Granddad," she said. "That's a LOT of firewood." It's really not much but I love it that she's interested.

So sweet.

Cherish this time :)

Very cute pic.

Cute kid you got there. My littlest is turning two in about a month and he's already the first one off the Mule when we find a scrounge of wood to load. The time goes fast.

I appreciate the moment, but don't let 'em get used to it. That child should be stacking splits, period. The -"I'm too young", "I need a nap", "I don't have a CLUE what you're asking me(but I like it, 'cause your face looks funny and you make cool noises when you talk to me).... that doesn't fly with me. Man up, crack the whip! :cheese:

Beetle-kill nailed it; you better get some more "motivated" help there...sleepin' on the job-wow...

What a GREAT picture!!!! Very cute. Good thing you were stacking and not cutting; she'd complain that she can't sleep with all the racket!!

Sweet picture....

ROTFLMAO!!!! What can I say, she takes after her mother when there's firewood to process. :D

lol I have a few like that!

It is sort of like I keep telling my wife; you have to stop and smell the roses while they are there.

Awesome pic! Our youngest is 3 months (boy), oldest is 7 years (boy) and girl (4) in the middle - can't believe that my oldest has been with us 7 years - with life so busy sometimes, you really have to take the time to just watch those buggers and enjoy them as much as possible! Cheers!

Heck . . . I still take naps myself . . . but for some reason they kind of frown on that here at work. ;) :)
