I don't see it. All those photos on page 5 were from 2006 and all I see is their Franklin gas stove and some Fireviews.

You haven't been able to squeeze any details from WS about the stove being their most loyal customer? Moving to our new home with a fire place has dashed the idea of a free standing stove, maybe in another year or two a new soapstone insert will be in the "testing area". What do you think?
 
Ha, No, they told me to have some patience. They are taking it day by day and don't want to rush it but I would think they want to get it out before the tax credit expires.

I don't think they will come out with an insert any time soon. Maybe you can extend your hearth on your fireplace and install a hearth stove?
 
With their huge rear clearance requirements and sound judgement, I don' think that the company believes in inserts. They know that a radiant heater needs to be out in the open to radiate the heat.
