I saw an ad on CL and responded. Several days later I received an email saying 4 other guys had been there and there was still wood left. It was a gorgeous day, so I hooked up the trailer and hauled it down to North Stamford (CT). Two pics are of the same load and the third is the pile I left for the next guy.

Looks like a nice load.

Good find! They are out there.

I'd guess Maple.

I saw some ads down in lower fairfield - just too far to drive for me. For some reason the Danbury area has been a bit light recently.

North Stamford, New Canaan and Shelton have been good scores for me. I have a guy, across town here in Redding, who I got some wood from a few months back. He just called to say he is taking down another tree or two and would I like some more.....free!

At some point I may need to seek "help" for my scrounging addiction. LOL.

Nice. After the wind storm we got 2 months ago I filled my truck up 4 times in North Stamford with oak and ash! I also agree that the Danbury area has been light. I was fortunate enough to get 7 mixed trees in my neighbors yard that were dropped and bucked.
