Just another scam of some sort.

I'm not sure. May be real. He obviously thinks 2.5 ton is a crazy amount when he says plenty for all and such. Shows he don't know much about it and it's probably the contractor that guessed how much he has. Some new young money bought an old house. There going to rehab it, that dirty old coal stove has got to go and they want a nice new heat pump so they have air in the summer. What to do with the coal? Pay the contractor to haul it out then pay to dump it in the land fill? Na, maybe some nut will come and take it out for nothing if we give it to him. Heck, the wife won't even go down in the basement until that dirty mess is gone. Then we can continue with gutting, new plumbing, electric, walk in closets, home theater system, etc.

How many btus are in 2.5 tons of coal?

They just want your e-mail address.

if i had a coal stove i would make a new yahoo email address and respond. the last craigslist post this guy had was different in that he sounded kind of mad at the people that wouldn't show up when they said they would.
