Well warm weather has finally arrived.
Yesterday I got in from out on the road at around 5:30 and the house was 80F ++ and so I flipped on the AC for the first time this season.

Looks like it will soon be time to clean the Pellet stoves up and have them ready for Fall.

Have not built a fire in over a week now.

The Quad came on twice last week in the weeeee hours and took the chill off is all.

Supposed to be a tad bit rainy next week but warm though.

Been a great stove season with a lot of changes here as far as the stoves go.

Next fall/winter will be a lot easier for sure.

I still have some things to finish up on the new hearth project but that will come over the summer.

Need to urethane the exposed wood frame and the shelf above the stove plus remove the stub of the old chimney pipe and cover the wall thimble.

Hope that this summer is a great one for all you folks here at the forum.

I will check in from time to time over the summer but it may be on a less frequent basis than during the last few months.

You have a great summer too, Snowy. Send pics when the hearth project is totally done!

In fact, EVERYONE have a great summer. You all have sure been a big help to a newbie. I appreciate all the input and help you have given.

Looking forward to next season and saving even more $$ on the darn propane!

Haven't had to think about the ac yet, Stove is still running on the cooler mornings. Every bag I have dumped in, I keep saying its the last one. Well the stove was on again this morning. Nights still dipping in the 40's around here! But we are almost there.

I am hoping this is the last week and I can get it all cleaned up for next fall.

Take care!

A/C, what's that?

I didn't even install my units after we moved in here and haven't needed them. They are sitting in the garage.

Looks like my stove use is also over and it is time to open things up and do a good cleaning and plug up the oak etc to keep the critters out of the works.

Have a good summer Snowy, take care twojrts, Jay you behave yourself and keep looking for pellet pig deals.

Time to get the growing out coop and pen setup. My new little ones are sure growing fast. It won't be long before they'll need it.

Well we did use the AC for about 4 days off and on.

BUTTTTTT a very unseasonably cold storm is expected into the area later today with snow levels down to 3000 Ft in the mountains.

Started the Advantage this morning as well as ran the Quad one cycle.
House was at 63F and with rain and wind its likely not going to warm much today, at least not indoors.

Strange, strange spring this year for sure.

My AE has been running the last two days. It has been cold and damp here. Looks like a warm up is on the way so it may finally be time to retire the stove for the season. I have already had the AC running twice this year only to turn around a few days later and have the stove kick on. Crazy darn weather!

No AC gonna run here for a while.

45F out right now and I have a nice little fire going in the prodigy for the eavening.

Likely will run the stove all night and then shut it off in the morning before heading off to work.

Sure feels like late Feb early March outside tonight and not the middle of MAY.

Weather here has been up and down for a couple of weeks now. AC a couple of days and then light the stove. Just had the stove on Tuesday night. Most likely will have the AC on today and tomorrow! And we are on the downside of May!!

Still cold and wet today.

More of the same for the next several days is what is forcast.

Stove on this morning to warm the house up, will likely leave it off during the day today and then see what shakes out for tonight.

If the sun pops out for a while, the house will warm up easily.

Cleaned the Prodigy last night and got it ready for another go round.

This Morning the Quad came on at around 6 or so and got the chill off by the time I crawled out of the sack.

Sure hope we are not doing this stove thing come June

Must be the GLOBAL WARMING ??????

Hmmmm, House still chilly.

Started the A2 and will let it run, at least until we head off to work today.

Just very unseasonably cold around here.

Just looked at the weather forcast for Fairbanks Alaska and their getting 70 today, Hmmmmmm whats wrong with this picture.

Snowy

Still cold with rain and wind.

Last night we had mixed rain and snow for a time.

Ran one stove all night last night.

Not sure if I will leave it on all day or shut it down.

Weather just sucks for sure.

Maybe next week we will get a little warmer and drier.

Snowy

With the temps in the low to mid 50'sºF and day time high above 70. My stove has been down for about a week! Look's like its clean up time! My project for the day!

Then its time to get the garden in! I glad its that time of year! Love them garden veggies.

Hopefully we won't need the A/C for a bit. I like to have a break between heating and cooling. I'll let good old mother nature take care of it for a while!

Enjoy the summer!

Still cool here.

Quad ran last night a couple times and tomorrow there is more rain forcast but slightly warmer weather though.

Really making up for the El Nino Winter we had for sure.

Snowy

Yesterday was warm and very nice, today is sloppy wet and nasty.

This rain is getting very depressing.

Stoves still on standby. Quad ran yesterday morning for one cycle.

Warm last eavening and had the windows open till after midnight.

Had hoped to be all done with stoves, pellets and nut shells until fall.

OH well.

Still have a few things to do as far as my hearth project of the late winter.

Been looking at getting stocked up on next falls pellets too.

Will not be able to do anything with nut shells until fall now.
