Oh Wow Thank your wife Awesome mower......................Oh And you better tell her how much you love her!!!!!

She is awesome, she goes with me to cut and split wood, build fence, and fix things. A good ole farm girl, with health problems that send most people to the couch,or grave. But she won' give in to them although she has to go a little slower, she still goes and goes, and goes............................................

great looking machine!! i see it has (2) beer holders er i mean cup holders, so how could you go wrong ;-)

Ja, but unlike a tractor with a steering wheel, you need to use both hands to drive it. My tractor only has one cup holder but it has never had to hold my beer for me.

So, did your wife buy that with "her" money?

Beer loses fizz when set on a running machine like that. I had a bulldozer once with a cupholder, not a good idea.

2nd cup holder is for lefties. I agree they aren't much good unless you mow a flat golf course. Our lawn and fields are rough enough that I have to spend most of my time holding the darn beer to stop it from bouncing out of the holder. My next mower is going to have a shock mounted holder!

Don't have much use for the holders. The crap that starts flyin' around while cutting gets all over and in the cup, or can, or whatever. The bouncing around causes the fluid to vacate the beverage receptacle at a pretty rapid rate. Jeez, how long are we on these machines anyway? Maybe a couple hours? I think I can hold out for that long before needing a drink.
Oh yeah, awesome machine.

If I had that mower, I could mow my puny yard in like 3 minutes... :)

Nice mower, great wife. Was the last one something like this? I am looking to move up from my 30 year old JD front mow, 25 yo walk behind bagger and walk behind snow blower. If this one wasn't 2300 miles roundtrip, it would probably be perfect for my needs.

John Deere F525 front, hydro static, zero turn mower in good shape. Kawasaki 17 hp engine runs great with 492 hrs. Comes with snowblower attachment and the full rear bagger. Interesting trades welcome. Guns, 4wheelers, jet skis, etc...

I have been looking at Zero Turn mowers for awhile. My question is on how well it rides. One of the selling points is the speed at which you can mow - some being upwards of 8-10 mph. I can't imagine mowing my lawn at that speed and being able to sit on the seat. I would also be wary of belting myself into the seat for fear of "Shakin' baby syndrom". So lay it on me - hows the ride????

Heck - my mowers back wheels are 5 ft tall and I have a $600 air cushion seat (kinda like a semi drivers seat) and at 3.8 mph it can be a little rough at times.

Its a bumpy ride, no doubt. I do like ours, but its not a superior machine to a rider. And is a heavy drinker.

my neighbor has a 60in. deck he's 74 years old and flys on that thing.......Now its very strong at mowing but lacks in other areas so if all you need is a mower they are second to none.

Yep - pure mowing. I have plenty of other horses around for meaningful work. (can you tell that mowing is very low on my list?)

I thought you had an old JD front mow like mine in the stable? FWIW, I found the 6 ft 3 pt finish mower to be a lot more comfortable. Just not as versatile for trimming and the front mow does a better job at speed.

Mine predates the JD front decks by a few years.

That's beautiful. Anything else would be a let down except maybe some big ole turf tires.

Well it rides pretty goood, and has cut my mowing time from about 7 hours to about 4 hours,on the first use.with a little more practice I hope to cut that time down a bit more. When I first started mowing it was kinda like following a snake trail, and is starting to straighten up. Hopefully I can get mowing time to 3 1/2 hours. Its fun to take a spin occasionally a couple of lefties then a couple of righties and go.
