Here are a couple of photos of our Opel III. We installed it with the central heat option and the decorative louvres. It works great in our old, drafty, 2900 sq ft farmhouse. We love this fireplace!!

It's a beauty! I like the classic look. It goes well with the house.

It heats great. Our old farmhouse is 2900 sq ft and quite drafty. The floor plan is not at all open. After we installed the fireplace we burned next to no propane and that was burning wood that was not as dry as it should have been. We would celebrate every time the propane truck rolled right on by our house on his way fill our neighbors tank :)

I'm really glad to see that you let him out of there. :p Rick

Lovely! neat, tidy, and very sympathetic attention to detail and how the insert and surround relate to the rest of the room (from what I can see!). Did you do the work yourselves?

Thank you Bobbin. Yes, I did do the work myself, though my husband and son handled the heavy lifting.
