Never mind, I just checked j-takeman's pellet review's and the PA's didn't look so good heat wise, plus I found barefoot's for a better price! Sweet! Probably go get a couple ton tomorrow!

Don't do it, you'll regret ever burning them in your stove. Go for a quality pellet like Barefoot or Okies.

If you found a really good price, buy as many tons as you can store.......for this winter and beyond. I don't see pellet prices going much lower, IMO.

Just got done unloading 2-tom of Barefoot's into the basement, $230 a ton had to haul em about 85 miles round trip but thought it was worth it at that price as I can get 2-ton on my trailer.

Also noticed on my way to pick up the Barefoot's that TC had Hardwood Heat pellets for $204 that is a tempting price .... almost thinking of getting a ton or 2 of those .... what do ya think ? are they any good ?

Hardwood heat is made by Hamers, and we all know what good pellets they make. Maybe shoot Jay (j-takeman) a PM...he might know if their actually the same as Hamers regular pellets.

If they are, that is a SWEET price and I'd scap-up as many tons as I could.

I have burned the Hamers and really liked them. I have not burned the Hardwood Heat. I could not find them locally.

Check here for some more info on them.

They look very promising and if I could get them for what you are getting them. I would go with it. But my stove is very tolerant and burns about anything. It might be best to trail if at all possible just in case.
