any one use these? local dealer selling them at 230.00 ton.says they are hardwood from canada.Ive never seen them before.

Are they "Northern Wood Pellets", or or "Northern Lights Wood Pellets" ?

A search of "Northern Wood pellets" only got me this (not sure it's the same):

"Northern Wood Pellets is a manufacturer of Commercial and Industrial grade wood pellets. We ship bulk pellets throughout the united States and Europe."

Same as a Cubex pellet....they are excellent

Jay needs to add them to his list of pellets that are re-bagged under different names.

BTW, jsvo, you need to grab as many tons of these as you can afford/store.....GREAT pellet!

Northern Pellets should have a black bear on the bag. Make sure of that so your not getting some thing called northern that is differnt from the Lauzon Northerns.

Already in there, They also bag the Comfort brand.

I agree, Great pellets. One of the best hardwoods available.

Yes, just as good as all of them, and very possibly better. They are the same as Cubex which are probably the best pellets you can buy in the NE.

EDIT: I would NOT put the NEWP in the same category as those others....they have become just an average pellet the past few years.

I think the other Northern is called Northern lights. I can't comment on there quality as I have never seen them locally.
