My local Home Depot has six pallets of "Hearth Blocks" out in front of the store. About the size of a biobrick. No manufacturers name other than to say "Made in PA". Each 1.10 Ton pallet can be yours for the low, low price of $495.00!

Envi 8's are available around here for $229.00/Ton. Full size Envi blocks are slightly more at $245.00/Ton and both are from the Barefoot pellet people, a quality product IMHO. Any takers?

What are these gems called? Are they from the same raw material as the Okie's?
