I am selling my Harman TL 300. I had the stove two years. What would be a good price to sell?

Any recommendations on a medium size free standing stove either cast iron or steel?

Most owners of this stove are pretty happy with it. What condition is the stove in and why is it being sold? As for a replacement, it would help to have a bit more information on where the stove is going and what it is heating. Can you describe the house, the area being heated and the chimney or flue system the stove is being connected to?

Condition of the stove is good. The stove is two big for my home. I live in a rance home with stove located in the basement. Heats the home weel and a little to much at times. It is vented in a masonary chimney with no problems.

Take a look at the Lopi Endeavor, Pacific Energy Super27, Napoleon 1400 for starters. There are several others, but that will get you going.

Does the whole house get too hot with the Harman or do you have to get the basement too hot in order to have it comfortable upstairs? How large a space is being heated?

I'd ask in the $1500 range, accept in the $1000 range. It may be easier to get $1500 once the tax credit expires.

No soapstone? Should be a nice weekend for a drive to Lebanon, NH!

The PE mid-sized line prices range from about $1500 for the Super27 up to about $2000 for a dressed up Spectrum Classic. Inside, it is all the same stove firebox. Napoleon also has several options for door trim, legs etc. Basic stove used to be around $1200, haven't checked recently. The Lopi Endeavor I think sells for around $2000?
