I LIKE it! Not too loud. small unit , don't expect it to perform like a 20 ton. I needed a little more power then what my ryobi was capable. So I just finished up some crooks, "Y's", and knotty stumps I was going to toss. Its a keeper to me. MAKE SURE You read the directions.

Not bad at all.....actually will do a little over 19" stuff. Worked it a bit this evenin......didnt bog down once. For 171.03....its a keeper for me....!!

Hey, that thing's cute! It'd go great with my niece's toy Stihl. Vrooom! JK--that seems like a great deal/alternative to an electric for not much money and more power.

I just picked mine up from my dad's-nice little unit. I even split some wood with it while I was there. Looking at the components got my gears turning though. At least at first glance, the valve looks just like the ones I've seen on the big boys. Between that, the hoses, the fittings, and the nifty little integrated hydraulic tank, I'm wondering to myself whether it would be worth it to use the thing while I gather parts like a bigger I-beam, bigger cylinder, bigger engine, etc...and one day cannibalize the little 8 Ton in order to build one that can run with the big boys? I have an old 12HP vertical shaft engine from a Craftsman lawn tractor that died-that plus an 18 GPM pump could move a 5" x 24" cylinder pretty good ;) Hmmmm...

Still checking all the Home Depots in NNJ. Everyone I have spoken to say it was on clearance for $ 412.00. None have shown the price of $ 177.

Bridgewater has two still in stock, but they want $ 412. for them.

Someone at HD must have caught the mistake. Nice to get a purchase at a blunder price. WTG.

Thanks for posting the images and review. Doesn't look too bad for the price at all.
