Anyone using a Drolet? Looking at the Adirondack for the house, seems to have decent reviews, made in Canada. I know its not $2000 stove and I know some ppl might say you get what you pay for, but just looking on opinions. Thank you.

Drolet makes a decent stove. Not a Cadillac, but puts out the heat.
IMO.

We have the Drolet Jasper which is much smaller than I would like but it is a solid little stove.

Our next stove in the basement will likely be a Drolet Baltic or Legend because like the Adirondack are shielded stoves which I need for the space we have.

Drolet makes a simple but dependable line of stoves with few bells and whistles but wood heat doesn't need to be complicated.

We have the Drolet savannah, I beleive they are the same firebox, It is a solid stove built very well. It is simple in design and is nothing fancy but it burns wood very well and puts out some nice heat. We will be upgrading to the Baltic soon, just for a longer burn time.

I heated with the Adirondack for a couple of years. I had difficultly getting overnight burns because of the small fire box I think. Otherwise a good solid stove for the money.
