I have a Regency S2400 and I was removing the top fire brick because I was getting ready to clean my stack, and had one top brick come out in 3 pieces. When I was done I put it back and it fits tight together. will this be a problem or should I just replace the brick.

Personally I would replace them because I'm obsessive about stuff like that. It depends on how tight fitting it is and whether it's in the budget. Do you know what a new one costs?

I'm going to call my stove guy in the morning and see how much and just replace it. Better safe then sorry.

I would replace it too. In the meantime, you can use some furnace cement to hold it together...apply sparingly to the broken faces & squish it tightly back together. Maybe put a clamp on it for a while, then carefully put it back into the stove. It'll serve until you can replace it. Rick

I just bought a new set for my regency and they were $55.00
