Anybody ever heard of or tried Nashwaak Valley Pellets?.........!

Looks like you should get 5-10 bags and test burn them when it gets cool out. Let us know.....

I'm burning a bag of them tonight, on a setting of 4 my heat exchanger is reading about 435-440 with an infra red thermometer, quite a few long one's, to many for my liking. The auger doesn't stop but they seem to hold up a lot then stsrt again.

Thanks Buck..where did you buy them? I haven't been able to get a reply from them to find out where to get them....I go up to Fredericton periodically and would like to try a few bags.

I'm guessing they're gonna be a lot like our Maine pellets, similar fiber supply. New mill, may take a year or two to get the recipe right.
Likely to be high on the ash side, gonna depend on what your stove will eat and how much you wanna deal with in order to support local business. Wish ya the best of luck, keep us posted on how it goes, eh?

How are the Maines Choice? I can get them for 229 a ton.

I burned about 2 and a half ton last winter, decent heat, fair amount of ash. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.
