Purchased a Used Enviro Mini a couple of months ago. Got looking at it, and trying to figure out how to utilize the heat exchange capabilities of exhaust gas from sides of stove better. Decided to get started on at least one experimental fan Mod.

That's an excellent point.
Fan mod would work better for a direct vent outside.

I'm still in the brainstorming phase. ruled out a couple ideas already mainly because my existing fans would never stand up to the heat. They'd be ok.... as long as they never failed.... if they failed the plastic components would never stand the heat ( no more cool air to suck). If I could get my hands on another convection blower ( same as on the mini) I'd mount it on the bottom plate of the stove and blow forward ( underneath the ashpan and the base plate of the stove.) Direct the air to side air channels on each side of the stove.... cut holes in the tops of those channels, and in the outside cover and have vents which blow heat 30degrees away from the stove and 40degrees down from horizontal.

That's great - I have studied your posts ... and also lil mini owner's..
I welcome your comments.
This stove is currently my only source of heating... so I'm hesitant to hack it up. It isn't getting any warmer outside.... I got the stove with 159 bags of Cubex Hardwoods.

Calculations/ assumption 9200 btu/lb
159 bags
