I am located in southern vermont and i am going to buy 6 tons of pellets this week.

Local seller is "The stove depot" and he is maybe the worst dealer ever....so,

I am looking at woodpellets.com and they only offer Cleanfire Pacifica and Cleanfire Hardwood, plus something called Michigan wood pellets.

I have read good and bad things about Cleanfire so i am a little hesitant about dropping $1800 without being able to try a bag or two....

Does anyone in this area have any other options? Or are the current Cleanfires great pellets and whihc of the two would be the best for the XXV?

I need delivery also.....

thanks

Have you tried to find Vermont Wood pellets in your area? They got good reviews. Here's the website....there's a link to find a dealer in your area:

www.vermontwoodpellet.com/

EDIT: Click on the "Order" button on the right side of the home page.

bennington pool supply has cubex at 235.00 per ton,or crosby in danby has vt wood pellet at about 239 a ton. i took the cubex for the good price on them.greenberg in bennington has vt wood pellets but wants 289per ton. home depot has freedom fuel at 219.00 per ton.

I'd be jumping all over that deal....buy as many tons as you can afford and store for this year and beyond....GREAT pellet!!!

Thanks, I will try calling bennington pools tomorrow to find out about delivery.

1, vermontwoodpellets is a new company an they do not deliver...pick up only, and they are about an hour away.

3. crosby's is a great com[any, and they do deliver the pallets...but they only offload with a boom onto the driveway...so i would be hand stacking 5 tons...i would prefer to have the pallets moved unopened into the garage.

Cleanfire Pacific is a good pellet. Made by Princeton Co-Generation. They make Eagle Valley Pellets.

i orderd 5 tons of the Cubex from Bennington Pool....$250 a ton delivered....2 weeks for delivery, and one week to change my mind...

Cleanfires would be much more than that and bennington pools is a local business.

Stove Depot was about the same price as the Cubex, but for "Northern" pellets and the guy is an a$$.

Pays not to be an a$$ in my book :)

thanks for the Bennington pools heads up!!!

Stay away from the michigans....

the people at bennington pool are nice people.been in business for many years,we have purchased 18 tons of cubex so far for my work, home and friends.glad i could help. that makes this site so worthwhile to everyone.
