Not sure what's the difference with the 3301P and will call tomorrow to inquiry.
Wondering if the color LCD is the difference and again if anyone here has one.

Im not sure what the differences are... I have an older Skytech, and mine has all the programmable modes. It has on, off, thermo, program temp mode, and a lot more... .all the bells ad whistles..it s not a color LCD but that doesnt mean anything to me, it works like charm year after year. And only cost me $89 back in 2003...

I got the newer model last season for Santa Fe insert. I believe the main difference between the newer and older model is that the newer one has a backlit screen which is very helpful for use in the dark. The Skytech remote is a must have.

richkorn posted on another thread that he has the 3301 P so he may know.

I thought the 3301 P2 was the newer model but they told me that the difference is that the 3301P has 4 program modes per day where the 3301 P2 does not.
