Hi, I've been checking the forum for a while and gathering information.
I am looking into Enviro Freestanding pellet stoves and was wondering if anyone has any info on them.
The Enviro Maxx and Enviro Evolution are the models I'm interested in.
Any info/feedback will be appreciated.

I sell Enviro and burn Enviro at home and at the shop. If you look around this site you will see many members burning them and most have great comments. The Evolution is a very nice contemporary stove - quiet and a nice flame. the Maxx is the Big Heater. Most folks install the Maxx in the basement of large bonus room, however we just sold one to a family that will install it a large family room using the large glass door. The stove works hard and puts out a lot of heat. This fall Enviro is coming out with the MAXX M - multi fuel stove. Lots of people are looking forward to it. 2 year warranty on parts and labor for new stoves.

Well my wife went to look at the stoves today (Saturday) she like the St Croix Afton Bay.
I'm still going there on Monday, and the beat goes on......

i've got the enviromaxx and am very happy with it, two years burning.
it is a heat machine !
would look at the enviro omega if you get the chance.
good luck !

we've been burning a VF170 at the warehouse (a Maxx repackaged).. excellent heater, huge output, very powerful fan. I would not stick this unit in my LR, as it is not the quietest machine, but the 130lb hopper and 70k btu output is a winning combo for a basement/bonus room install.

Never buy a stove simply because of looks... the #1 factor should be DEALER CUSTOMER SERVICE after the sale. You won't know HOW important this is until you actually own a stove.

That said, my St. Croix has been bulletproof and simple to operate for the four years I've used it. I bought it used and it's a 2000 model.

What are your house spec's?

The Maxx is a monster of a stove and will blast some serious heat. The Evolution is better suited for mid sized homes. Both are good stoves but can be picky with what is put in the hopper.

I am an Omega multifuel owner and love the feature of the self cleaning burnpot. Weeks before you need to clean it and burns any pellet. A heat cranking monster just like the Maxx and well worth the extra money. But it has the lower CFM fan and is quiter than the Maxx. Enviro is also selling the M55 and the M55 cast. Both are quite and burn any pellet. Like pelledude said the Maxx M is due this fall and its a beast of a stove.

The St Croix have been getting good reviews here. They also have multifuel stoves in there line up. Like krooser said, make sure the stove has good support!

Do you have corn available in your area?

The floor plan... downstairs is about 900 sq ft. open layout which has Kit, LR, DR, LaundR. Stairway upstairs far end away from where the stove will be.
Upstairs 3 BR 2bath. I will be putting in floor vents to aid in heat circulation.
Probably have ruled out the Maxx seems to be too large and not a good fit in the living area. I would like to see the Evolution but the dealer doesn't have one on display.
Tomorrow when I visit the dealer (wife was there Saturday) I'll get a better feel for them. I heard some good things and nothing bad about them.
I'll post an update after visiting....Thanks for all the input....information is always welcomed

Adding the floor vents will do a lot of good for heat circulation...it's a very old idea. Many older home (like mine) had them back when you heated with wood or coal stoves...M
You will find having a fan also helps to circulate the heat. One thing you WON'T have is the comforts of having even heat throughout the house... it's just the way it is. many folks like to sleep in colder temps anyway.

My pellet stove is the best investment I have ever made in my home.

I'm most likely going with the Enviro Evolution. My question now is about the Exterior Mounted Exhaust Blower. Is the interior fan that noisy that the have an exterior blower available? Does anyone have experience with this type of setup?

The evolution is very quiet. I am not sure why you would need an outside blower.

Thanks, that's what the dealer said. Told me they have never installed one with the outside blower.
All that's let now is to get my deposit it and wait. Once they get the stove in we'll set up the installation date.

i just bought an enviro maxx and was just wondering if you can give some ideas on what some of the settings are run at for good heat and economy.
i have the topic posted if you would like to read it.
thank you

Its been about one month since my stove has been installed and I'm running it on 2.
The stove is on a TS and the room its in stays around 75. There is a stairway to upstairs in the next room and I have vents to an upstairs bedroom in the room the stove is located.

So far it's been very good.
Great heat output.
Easy to keep clean.
Best of all the wife is happy.
