Hi,
I switched over from a wood stove insert to a pellet stove insert this year. I have a Quad Classic Bay 1200 installed and ready to go. I just installed a wireless thermostat and tested it. My question is that it seems to take about 17 minutes after start up until the blower turns on to kick heat out into the room. On thermostat control, this would seem like a waste to use 17 minutes worth of pellets before the heat is kicked on for every time the thermostat cycled. Am i missing something here? I'm considering putting a resistor parallel to the thermocouple to lower the turn on time.
Thanks!
Dr V
