It's a good price, actually, about $15.00 above the price offered to dealers on a full truckload basis (22 pallets). Problem is, one, Brown City is the middle of nowhere and two, it'a per ton price so momma's mini van ain't gonna cut the cheese. You pay for convenience and you pay for transportation closer to your door. If you live close to Brown City, it's a bargain. Most people in Michigan don't.

don't make much sense to me when i can go to family farm and home and get pellets for 175 a ton ozarks or go to tractor supply and get propellets for 175 a ton.

If you want to spend more $ for inferior pellets, go ahead. ProPellets and Ozark aren't in the same league as Somersets.

With all the good I read about the Somersets I would jump on that deal if it was close to me. I have not seen any pellets @ that price come my way. Must be someone who purchased a full load and wants to sell off a few tons.

Definately a good find if your in the market for pellets right now.
