Are there any free sites or programs out there that can be used to draw schematics for boiler installs?

I use Apple computers and I would like something that can show valves pumps and other mechanical items.

You might try Google Sketchup. I also have Macs but am fortunate enough to have a need for VectorWorks (the only full-on CAD program that will run native in OSX) at work.
 
taco has a free program that's pretty nice. i don't know if they have an apple version.
