So in addition to my venting problem I have stumbled onto another issue. It seems that every other time the stove fails to start. It also takes along tim to ignite. The ignitor gets hot so thats not the issue. The ignitor does seem far away from the burn pot. I did replace the burn pot gasket before installing the stove. any ideas?

I have the same issues. If I notice it's been a while (12-15 minutes) and still hasn't lit, I take my screwdriver and stir up the pellets and it seems to light really quickly. Sounds exactly like my issues.

Is the hole leading to the ignitor clear and are you putting a small handfull of pellets in the burnpot in front of hole before start-up?

The hole is clear. and no I am not putting any pellets in front of it before start up

Thats what I have been doing as well. It still is a pain.. I might as well manually light it.

try putting a small hand full of pellets in front of the hole it will start up a lot quicker, mine does it takes less then 5 mins

mine does the same thing.. alot of the time i use a handheld propane torch to light it.. it's just easier that way instead of messing with it

One thought is your igniter is just a little too far away so that every now and then it won't work. There is an ideal distance, so I would check with Englander and see what it is.

Burn pot gasket....did you use the factory one? Is the igniter hole seperated from the air intake hole by gasket material? Remove the igniter and clear the hole between to air intake and the igniter chassis. If it is connected via a tube...blow it out. You are not getting air over the igniter OR you are losing air in back of the burnpot. Also, make sure that the two set screws that hold the burnpot back against the refractory wall are TIGHT.
