THe Big E has a metal plate that sits near the top on each side of the stove before the airflow goes down and then out. Should those plates be towards the front of the stove or the back - maybe even in between? I'm working through the end of my MWP pellets left from last year and it looks like a snow storm hit inside the stove each week with what accumulates on top of these. I figure they are meant for controlling airflow but just just not sure where they belong.

THanks for the help and the nightly reading of humor
