Saw this neat little stove today that seems perfect for a bedroom. Only 12"x12"x11" !!
Does anybody have experience with this? Mariner also makes larger versions - the
Capecod and the Halibut.

what actually fits inside to burn?

Just some small kindling...actually on the site they suggest small 6" logs, but that might be pushing it!

what else can it do? how warm does it get, how long does a typical burn last? etc...

It would be great for an ice shanty or smelt shack. Looks like real short burn times.

Around here neither our local codes nor our homeowners insurance company will allow a woodstove in a bedroom. You might want to check your codes/insurance company first.

Dang but they are cute, aren't they??!!! I will tell you, if we had a sunroom I'd have on in there in a minute! :)

I've got a double sided pre-fab fireplace. Works great if you want to cool your house off in the middle of Winter. I'd love to stick one of these little babies right into it and run a flue inside the metal chimney there now.

I get the feeling they are more for cooking than heating, but not sure. Look fun though!

they do look cute, almost toyish. It's hard to comprehend a stove that size when I run 2 'normal' size stoves in my house. It looks, from your pics, that the stove belongs in like a dollhouse or maybe a porch (on a shelf)
