Just came in from givin my new 22 ton TSC spitter a good test drive.Looks like a lot of machine for the money.
The wife picked it up about 45 miles away. Manager had two still in creates . We got to assemble it here & make sure everything is put together
right. Came with all the oils you need . Might just have to retire that 8lb maul.....

Hoosier- why didnt you get it pre-assembled? They do it for you for free?

I would rather make sure its put together right. And I really wasnt that excited about towing that splitter that far.
Plus the people putting them together at TSC may not care about my splitter as much as I do . No big deal.

Gotchya. I had them put mine together, with thorough inspection by ME to follow. Also skittish about towing(2 hours for me). Bed of pick-up is the way to go.

love mine!

Congrats on the splitter. I picked mine up yesterday brought it home and went over all the nuts and bolts to make sure everything was good and tight. It seemed like they did an ok job putting it together and and the hydraulic fluid was full. After checking it out I fired it up and went to town. All I can say is I wish I had bought one sooner. Your gonna love it!

I must admit, for something that is work, it is fun to use.

I bought one around a month ago and asked to take it home crated in the back of my truck and they said no. Liability due to the wheels, I could put them on incorrectly.

I've either read it here somewhere or somewhere else, but it's been mentioned that it hooks up to a ATV a bit hard. I wish I could find the post. Anyone have any experience with this? I may buy one of these and I'll def use it with my 4-wheeler. Maybe they meant it was front heavy or maybe they had an ATV that was higher or lower than normal. Not sure, just curious if anyone has any pros and cons with this huskee 22ton splitter. Thanks in advance.

Mine, when attaching the coupler to the ball, is a bit dificult. correct size ball, matching the coupler, but I have to kick it down onto the ball. It comes off just fine, and has never come loose. my other trailers using the same ball have no problems at all.

hoosierhick, congratulations on the new splitter. I think you'll love it. btw, I too assembled mine but that was many, many moons ago. It has been trouble free since new.

amp, the atv is how I move mine. No problem. I do plan on mounting one of those wheels on the front like is on a boat trailer so that I can move it by hand easier. Just waiting for the right price.

I know Im being a pessimist here, but who spends a $1000 on a splitter, and then throws away the paperwork a few weeks later!?! Call me crazy- but that splitter is stolen!!

Hey new-to-this ** - are we Long Islanders the ONLY ones that think that splitter grew legs, or WHAT!? I think someone ought to call the cops.

Wood I saw that at the shop this morning thats exactly what I was thinkin . Better make sure mine is put away & nowhere near that guy !
wonder if he will match TSC 's warranty......LOL Backwoods thanks, got that sucker sittin out next to a big old pile of ash & oak. Can't wait til
the suns up . Sick aint it??????

I don't know, being from the Island, seems to me that machine was in someone else's yard yesterday. Kid's gonna need heat.

I sometimes borrow one from a neighbor. I usually use it Sat. and Sunday. It goes in the garage with my truck parked in front. Hell, I had a tree guy drop a load of locust. Someone stole about 1/3 cord. (rounds). I live in a nice area. People are desperate.

Im in Levittown, but from Bellmore. Where you at?

I work in Huntington, too.

Yeah, just because the guy doesn't have the receipt, he should have a credit card statement showing the amount, or a cancelled check. If he paid $1,000 in cash, the folks at TSC would surely remember him. There's got to be a trail, unless it's one he doesn't want followed...

The splitter should attach to a ATV just fine. I sometimes attach mine to my Exmark Laser Z Commercial Mower to move it around the yard. Mine has been kicking for about 3-4 years now. Currently have huge rounds of white oak beside it to split...
