After reading past posts and reviews I just ordered 3 tons of the Greenway Pellets at $189.00/ton plus $25.00 per ton delivery charge.

Usually I would burn some first before such a big purchase, hope I did the right thing.

One good thing about the Mt. Vernon AE is that it will burn just about anything.

These are the best prices I have seen on pellets for quite some time.

With your MT Vernon AE, You have a lot less to worry about than a standard pellet stove owner. I burned the GreenWays and they did pretty well for me. So far the word has been good for them. You should be fine!

I agree w/ Jay. I burned them, and they were fine in my stove.

I purchased a ton from the same place and burned the stove to check them out. I have an Accentra and they burned fine. Check out my post to J=takeman about the same pellets. I plan on having them del 2 tons to the house. That was a long ride home with a ton in my van and trailer.

I just recieved 4 tons from the, I hope they're ok....I'll post after I burn a little.

Yeah, I am glad I listened to the pellet gurus.

They are burning hot with very minimal ash.

Are a bit dusty though!

I bought 5 bags last week to test before committing to a large purchase.

I found that they burnt hot, and left very little ash in my FS Lopi Yankee.

Last winter I burned Energex American, Hamers Hot Ones, and Somersets (all three burnt well for me).

At this time these three brands are running around $250.oo a ton in my area.

I bought 3 tons of the Greenway's this afternoon at "Wood Floors Plus" in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

The cost per bag is $5.oo when buying any amount less than a ton or $3.78 per bag ($189.oo per ton).

here is the link to their web site: http://www.woodfloorsplus.com/product.php?pnum=HASPelletPallet

I have a 25pdvc and they would vary in burns some hot some cold. I like to try before I buy.

I was in the local Rural King store yesterday, they had Greenways for $3.49/bag. ($174.50/ton)

I asked if that was a sale or normal, and the "manager" (looked like he was 16) informed
me that was their everyday low price. I think I'll go get a pickup load for evaluation. :)
