I know it can be daunting to know the best way to manage your money. Good for you for trying to do something positive about it. That said, I would remain highly skeptical in your head as you listen to their pitch. They just want your money like every other business and will try to convince you to give it to them. Their "Financial Needs Analysis" tool seems like it will empower them with all they need to know about your financial situation to tailor their "products" to you. I recommend you compare their offerings to other similar products before deciding anything.

A friend of mine was working for Primerica about 5 years ago. My wife and I sat down with them to see what they had to offer.

After we looked at what they had, we actually did end up buying a term life policy through them in addition to the other life policies we have with other carriers.

Late to the game here, but my wife has had a Primerica (IRA) account for many years....prior to that they were just American Express.
The choice of funds is good, but the problem that she/I have with it (Fidelity customer) is that they take out yearly fees for account maintenance, and when you buy/sell funds you are also hit with either sales cost on the front end of back end.
With all the no load funds out there, and if you have a sound strategy of where you want your money placed, I think you can do a lot better than a discount broker. Right now, we are just waiting for her B shares to become A shares, so we can then move them without a penalty to a low discount broker.
They are in sales for a reason.

If you Google Primerica you will find some people who call their operation similar to a pyramid. I don't know if that's true but I do remember my son was being recruited several years ago to work for them and it didn't sound good to me. Seems they really emphasized employees bringing in more sellers in addition to policies. That's not to say that they don't sell reputable products/policies. Do your homework, that's the best advice. I am leary of them and there are plenty of choices.

I tried them, gave them about 5 years to prove themselves, they finally made me feel so used with over charging fees, and losing my money I pulled out every penny i had and invested it myself.
Done great since, bought some stocks, mutual funds, GIC's, etc.
My Trimark mutual funds have low fees, and done well the last 13 years.
