I hadn't planned to use it, but was feeling a little lazy.

And NO I won't cut your tree down so I can have the wood!

Mike, with that you have a right to feel lazy. Makes that high work a bit easier.

Sweat now that's cool.

Cheater! ;)

Here is the view looking down. Up about half way of what the lift is capable of.

Got Guts ? Lets see a picture from all the way up.

Sorry no pics from max height. Most residential homes just are not that high. Have been straight up a few times while re-pointing some old chimneys -- feels like you are balanced on top of a wet noodle.

Truthfully..

I would hate that more than climbing up there the old fashioned way. Those sky buckets and such bother me.

It's not heights.. just the whole bucket on an arm deal. I have climbed/repelled from some big stuff in my day, even gone Australian out of helicopters.. but I NEVER ride the gondolas and such at amusement parks..

Not a real fan of heights myself . . . yeah, yeah I know . . . a firefighter and ladders . . . what can I say . . . I'll do it when I have to . . . but if I have a choice send me into the fire with the hose rather than the roof to make the vent hole.

You're not really from Maine Michael. No self-respecting Mainer would rent a tool like that.
We're more into Mickey Mouse improvisation with what's at hand: two bys, climbing lines, roof hooks.

SECOND that! Never did like the top of an aerial...like Reallyhot said, it's like being on the end of a noodle! I'm with you jake, give me the fire room any day....well used to anyway, to old now....have to stand outside and direct the fireground and act like I know what I am doing :snake:

Well that is true -- I actually own it, bought it used from a rental yard that said it sat on the lot too much.

What will you take ?
