my chimney is leaking just before it goes thru the roof is where the water is coming out. the seam where the pipe is put together is where it is running out where it meets the next stick of pipe.so if it was leaking from around my flashing it would be on the outside of the pipe right? so i think it must be leaking from the next joint up where the next 2 pipes meet what do yall think?

Hmm, all I can tell you is that my pipe is Superpro, and it says Supervent on it. It is made by Selkirk. Anyway, yes, my pipe can take in water at the seams and it can leak out from the very bottom of the class A pipe, from the seam. There have been a couple of threads noting this. The fix is to put a bead of appropriate silicone caulk in the seams of the class A pipe above the storm collar. It sounds like this may be your issue, possibly. I hope this helps.
