Well so far I have taken lots of pics during bow season, and picked out some of the better ones. I'm no pro photographer, just use a point-n-shoot (but a good one I think), and thought they were good enough to share at least.

My home for the fall, amongst the oaks and cherries:

"I see you up in that tree"

"I know I saw something yummy crawl into this knot" -red bellied woodpecker
800IMG_2063.jpg

"Yeah thats me you could here from the other side of the forest" -pileated woodpecker

"You'd be out of breath too if you were chasing does all day"

"I'm bugging outta here"

Now, see, right there - that's what I need attached to my house so I can get up on the roof to clean my chimney. I especially appreciate the 'safety netting' design for getting to the roof. :)

Seriously, nice pics!

Where's the wood stove?

PS: No red-belly woodpecker there, that's a flicker and a handsome one at that, nice shot.

White chest and red on top of the head rather than the back of the head makes it a red-bellied, I 'm pretty sure.
and a male.

Nice shots.
The sensors and auto modes in all the digital cameras keep getting more sensitive and nicer.

Sorry BeGreen, that is a red bellied woodpecker.

I think Aldis is on the wrong thread, forum, or who knows what.
