It won't amount to anything, but it makes for a nice view out the window (the half cord of pin oak looks good too ;) ):

Who else is getting snow today?

Well its amounting to more than nothing, but the roads are warm enough to keep it from sticking:

Twas too warm when the system went over us so we got rain. Have not seen the ground white yet this fall. Strange...

It was unexpected. Nothing like a warm fire, smell of turkey, and snow out the window. Kids and I took a snow hike and then I picked up the axe and split a pallet of cherry rounds in the snow to work off my turkey and make room for pie.

Bring on the cold and snow!

A little rain this morning, but there is blue sky creeping in from the west. Mid-40s and raw in a humid, maritime way. But clouds being blown out over the ocean from the west means it will likely be cold tonight. It's OK, it's the proper time of year for that to happen.

I like seeing the first snow drifting down, too, Badfish. And when I saw your picture I immediately noted the nice stash of firewood and the birdfeeder. (How's that fool puppy doing?)
