Hello all,

I received from my father our old Petite Godin (model 3720) coal/wood stove to put in my shop. Unfortunately during the transport the top decorative enameled castiron lid cracked. Welding / brazing I guess is out. I can try and find a replacement if they still make them. I'd hate to spend a lot of money, but would like to replace or fix the lid

Anyone out there have any experience with high temperature adhesives / epoxies?

I have some pices if you think that may help.

Just for oooh and ahhh sake here is a 3720. Looks like Godin still makes'em. In France.

That is stunning! Worth putting a bit of coin into to get it fixed right.

Since it's still made, can't you get replacement parts for it?
