If you TRULY desire to be a pellet hog you will move all your wife's stuff outside under the porch and fill every nook you can find with fresh pellets.

:)

Salty,

That would be asking for a good swift kick out of the house, followed by both a burning pellet stove and the pellets being thrown at you.

I don't think I could duck all of that, could you?

I wear the pants in my house

oh i'll be right there dear~~~~~~~~

So here I sit, Pondering on My current Pellet Supply. Dec 1st tomorrow. Generally not a blustery Cold Month, Have a pretty good supply of shoulders and High Test in the waiting. Jan & Feb will definatly be the high use period. I Should burn through that Horrid Ton of Freedom Fuel I have very Soon, Mixing with Green Teams.... I found a supplier with Vermont's for 248/ton. I most likely will pick up at least 1 ton...............Then the restacking for easier access........ ( I Have Pellets EVERYWHERE )

Tis the Life of a Pig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :blank:

ooo wow thats is impressive but I sure hope you do not run into the same problems I had with the somersets in my two stoves... I bought 6 bags and split them between the two stoves to test them out. I had to empty out the hopper in the englander 4 times and clean out five bricks from the pot with the two bags I could choke down its throat. In the big E I had it a bit easier, only one hopper cleanout and two huge bricks in the pot ... and to think I paid nearly $6 a bag....I surely hope you got a much much better deal..

I have a little closet under the stairs that go to the second floor. If you ever watched the Harry Potter movies and seen Harry's room, you know what I mean. I am able to store about 1.5 tons there. It is bone dry about about 10 feet away from the stove. :)

I burned three tons of them last year, burned great
low ash, lots of heat
burned half a ton this year so far and running flawlessly
I am at almost half of that price
might buy another load next year
depending on pricing, to stay way ahead
nice to know if nothiging else Ill be warm
hope my stove lasts that long, I only burn 4 tons per year
