High Desert
hey all,

Just checking in as the newest member on the site! I swear there is a forum web site for anything you want, and I'm likin it! Anyways, I'm getting back into wood burning after a ten year hiatus and found the site while snooping around on the inter webby,so I figured I'd join and see what I could learn.

Welcome haymaker. Where in the high desert are you. Could you make your loc more specific? What are you burning in now or are you investigating a new stove?

Welcome aboard! I'm wondering about the 10 year "hiatus" you had. What prompted that?

There's a lot of great folks in here, from both the Pellet world, and the Wood world. Enjoy the ride!!

Well welcome haymaker. Glad you're here. I hope you are ready to learn a ton. I know I have and still am. After 10 years, you may think you know alot but boy oh boy the folks here are great, and if you wanna talk about knowledgeable, this place has got the cream of the crop IMHO. Anyway.... so why a decade break ? What are you burning now? Oh and just so you know, without pics, it never happened.

Welcome aboard, please put your seat backs up , and your trays in the locked position.

Welcome to the forum haymaker02.

10 years off or not, you no doubt will love the wood burning. I for sure would really miss it. Just love the warmth and I also happen to love putting up the wood.

Because you have burned wood in the past you also no doubt have some knowledge of your own to pass on to the rest of us and we welcome it.

Good luck to you.

Welcome to the forum.
